A dwarf Japanese Maple with a neat, rounded habit, Kiyohime is a fine addition to any garden or landscape with dappled shade. Small, light green leaves with 5 pointed lobes emerge in spring with a rosy overlay and turn entirely green in summer months. Come autumn, the foliage takes on a mix of yellow and orange tones that are utterly breathtaking. If left unpruned, it will form a broad, rounded shape with a spreading canopy, although Kiyohime is commonly used as a bonsai specimen due to its small leaves and naturally dwarf, well-branched habit.
