Acer ‘Orangeola’
Generally more upright in habit than other cascading or spreading dissectums, Orangeola grows into a gently weeping mound shape. It produces a graceful effect when allowed to hang over walls, but its upright growth gives it a wider range of adaptability to containers and other locations in the landscape. Its lacy, dissected spring foliage emerges bright orange-red and mellows to red-green in the summer. Throughout the summer, new flushes of orange growth appear, giving it a two-toned effect that lasts until fiery crimson fall tones infuse the foliage. Growing about 3 feet tall and wide in 10 years, this Japanese Maple is a great specimen tree for limited space gardens and foundation accents. Orangeola does well in both full sun and part shade locations.Item Form: Gallon Container Height: 6-10' Width: 6-8' Sun Exposure: Full Sun, Part Shade Hardiness Zones: Zones 5-9
